Those of you that know Sandra know of her love for four legged children, especially her own. Ever since July 1, 1990 (yes she knows the date) she has had a West Highland Terrier. Her first was Frosty who watched over her for 14 years and she now has Maddy who has been with her for the past 7 years. She now, through marriage has another called Shelby who is a yellow lab mix that is as high maintence as they come. She has treated these pups as her own children, even going as far as relegating adults to the back seat so Frosty could sit in the front, having a doggie seat belt for him, dressing them up in rain boots whe she took him outside in the rain, and giving them the run of the house and furniture. The latter was a point of contention for us when we first got together but she house broke me and of course I gave in. Her love for animals in many ways is the way that she lives her life, with the thought that when you do for others, love will return in some form or another. I have learned through this unconditional love from my wife, and the dogs, and it has helped make me see love in a much different light. Therefore, Day 22, our run of collages continues since we are still on vacation. A 22 picture collage of the three pups was presented to this wonderful, caring woman and in typical fashion, she couldn't stop looking at it and didn't put it down for a while. I will add the picture when we get home as for some reason I don't have it with me like the others.
